This scenic tour takes you through the Lasithi region, starting in front of Ha Gorge and heading east towards Kavousi village, where the oldest olive tree in Europe (approximately 3000 years old) is located. After a long climb to the top, we'll see the remains of a village that once thrived with agricultural activity. We'll also observe a man-made water pipe that used to deliver water to the bottom where Kavousi stands. A few kilometers further up is Thripti village, which offers a superb view of Ha Gorge and the south coast of Ierapetra. We'll take a coffee break here before rolling down through the pine forest and enjoying breathtaking views of the north and south coasts. For lunch, we'll stop at the Monastery village and visit an old taverna with homemade dishes and the best view. This tour is sure to bring smiles to everyone's faces.
